We are excited to announce that at 4 p.m. on December 2, State Comptroller Peter Franchot will visit Main Street as part of his Shop Maryland for the Holidays campaign.
Franchot will walk the street from Sweet Elizabeth Jane to Old Columbia Pike, promoting Ellicott City businesses and urging Marylanders to shop in town for the holidays. He will end his visit at the Manor Hill Tavern, and we understand there may be a presentation of some kind.
We are grateful to the Comptroller for taking time out his busy schedule to visit our wonderful town, and we hope many of you will come down to Main Street to meet him.
